Jesse Davidson

Wine Lover, Adopted Italian, Tigers supporter

With 20 years experience running one of Melbourne's Italian dining institutions Centonove, Jesse brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to Bar Alba.

He can't wait for Bar Alba's education program to kick off in 2022 where he will guide wine enthusiasts and lovers on a tour of Italy's wine regions and endless grape varieties. 

Kym Davidson

Champagne & Chardonnay expert, Mother Hen

Guests may not expect to see Kym working behind the bar too often at Alba but her presence will be felt in all aspects of it's soul.

With a keen eye for details, Kym is behind all the small things that make Bar Alba a special place to relax and have fun

    Francesco Scalavino

    Partner, Bar Alba CEO, Riesling addict 

    Francesco will be the welcoming face of Bar Alba.

    Having moved from Palermo, Sicily in 2011, Francesco brings hospitality experience from all over Italy, England and in Melbourne from such icons as Caffe e Cucina and Centonove.

    Francesco exudes old school hospitality and will always ensure the customer come first.

    Patrick Fletcher

         Head Chef of Bar Alba and Centonove, Partner

    Patrick is an absolute gun.

    For 11 years he has been the head chef of Centonove earning the restaurant 10 Good Food Guide Hat's Awards.

    Patrick has spent the last 5 years researching Italian bars and their food culture.

    He knows that a bar has the ability to unite neighborhoods and communities and his food will be classical but innovative and easy to share.

    He may not be Italian by blood but he's earnt his stripes and all his hard work will be for the benefit of Bar Alba's guests.
